  • Are fractional leaders independent contractors then?
    Not really, in theory. Fractional HR leaders tend to differentiate themselves from independent contractors for a few reasons; We do not adopt an independent contractor mindset due to the leadership roles, responsibilities, and the trust placed in us by you as your HR leader. As your fractional CHRO, we are invested in the scalability and long-term interests of your business and the employee experience. We handle sensitive and confidential information and are more strategically and leadership-focused. We are also more integrated with your teams due to the close nature of the working relationship/partnership. We typically participate in the plannings and execution of your long term strategies.
  • What is the difference between fractional and interim?
    Fractional means you engage with us on a partial basis, as opposed to a full-time basis. Under this arrangement, we are a vital part of your business, we represent your HR function, integrated into your leadership team, and engaged in client-facing activities, whether externally or internally, depending on your business needs. Interim is adopted as a stopgap solution. It is plug and play and short term. This a perfect solution during leadership transitional period to ensure business and operational continuity.

  • Are there specific areas or services that you do not currently provide?
    We are not a executive search firm or a recruitment agency. When and if we conduct recruitment activities, it will be integrated into the people agenda or KPIs rather than treated as a transaction or specialisation. For example, if succession planning is part of the responsibility for your fractional leader, they will be involved in the interview and selection process. On a case-by-case basis, they may also directly source and shortlist candidates, either independently or with the support of a recruitment firm (vendor) that specialises in the industry and/or function. We are not oursourced vendor We do not provide high volume, transactional or operational services such as payroll, background checks, bulk work pass applications, etc. We are not executive coaches. We are not certified executive coaches, therefore executive coaching is not our area of specialisation. We do however, advise, influence and coach the business teams and people managers. That being said, we are connected to many coaching professionals, and we collaborate with them on needs basis over the years.
